Working With A GAF Certified Roofing Contractor, What Does It Mean To You?
When you are preparing to hire a roofing contractor it is important to hire one that is backed up with a certified contractor certification. A certified contractor has to meet a standard of requirements in order to represent GAF and offer their exclusive warranties. A few of those requirements are:
- Must be in business a minimum of 2 years.
- Must pass a financial background check.
- Cannot have a bad reputation online.
- Must be licensed, bonded & insured.
- Installers must take and pass GAF's Pro Field Guide test EVERY YEAR!
- Must maintain a 90% customer satisfaction rating which is verified by independent GAF surveys to EVERY customer.
Standard Material Warranty Vs System Plus Weather Stopper Warranty
Aside from the pre-qualification standards of GAF for their certified roofing contractor program the next biggest factor that benefits you the consumer is the warranty differential we are able to offer.
